Bluey

Room 9 has adopted a korara. The korara is six years old. She is a female. She came from Oamaru in the South Island of New zealand. She has at least ten chicks. Her name is Bluey and she likes to eat crabs and shrimp.

The brain

This week we have been learning about the brain. The brain is important because the brain sends messages to your body. The cerebellum helps us balance. The right side of the brain controls the left and the left side controls the right side.

Football skills

Room 9 played football yesterday on the field to learn new skills. We played a game to get warmed up it was red light, orange light and green light. Then we played a game of football. Then we played football and in 3 goals there were bibs.

Duffy Assembly

Yesterday at Duffy assembly Mr Mac came to the
Duffy assembly. Mr Mac played us a DVD of Doug the Digger.  Then he gave the classes their boxes of Duffy books.
