Growth mindset

In He Puna Tarei we had to make a growth mindset poster. A  mindset is a belief or an attitude that we have about something. Some mindsets are negative and some are also positive. We have been learning about positive mindsets where we can get better at anything using time and effort.

In He Puna Tarei we had to make a class logo. I made a triangle logo with 4 little blue penguins because our class is a penguin class. I put korus on it to show my family. My motto is on a learning journey.

Treaty of Waitangi

We have been learning about celebrations. One celebration in New Zealand is Waitangi Day. It is the day the Treaty of Waitangi was signed. I made a google drawing to show what I learnt

Jorja town

Welcome to Jorja town

You will find our hospital and a playground at the north east side of town.  At  the west  side of my town  there is a  forest.  Across the  road   from the forest  is my home. Across  the road from my home  is the lake. Across the road  from the lake is the train station. Across  the road  from the church is south the school.

Gymnastics

I have learnt how to do a motorbike landing. First you land on your toes, then you land on your heels and bend your legs and put your arms in front of your body.

I have learnt how you do a forward roll. You put your chin on chest and put your hands on the ground and lean forward and roll over and stand up.
