Active learning

For Active learning this term, I made a puppy paw string art. I am proud with my finished masterpiece because its a Christmas present for my mum and it turned out amazing. One thing I found challenging was hammering in the nails with my cast on. If I was to do it again i would take more time and choose a diffrent design.

Athletics Day

It was the minute before my first Athletics challenge, which was high jump. Sadly, I couldn't do it because I still had my cast on my arm. My real first activity was Vortex. I had so much fun with Mrs Wilton-Scott! I heard Rhlee in Room 7 cheering my name she was really loud. I finished but I didn't get in the top five, sad.  We did Long jump after that and I went further than I have done before I almost got to the end of the pit! After that it was lunch and the day was over, for me.

Reach resue (Swimming)

Every Wednesday and Friday He Puna Pumanawa   go swimming. We have been learning how to signal for help and how to save someone when they are in trouble. What we did was we got a buddy and one of us would go into the pool. They would put their hand up to  signal for  help with a pool noodle. The other person would sit on there knees and  hold on to the other side of the pool noodle and put it into the pool. They needed to drag the person to the side of the  pool and hold their arms, once they are ready to get out drag them out of the pool slowly.

This is a picture of me and Ruby doing it.
This is the technique on how to save someone.
We had so much fun!!!😀👍
